Bird flu and cats

Should i be worried about my cats if this bird flu epidemic gets to the uk as suggested.  They kill and eat a fair few.

Intrigues by this question- had no idea so looked it up. Apparently cats can get it- see http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn6352

and looking at other sites there seems to be a possibility of it affecting dogs as well. Havent read enough yet to see if dogs and cats develop symptoms or just pass it on to humans. Bit worrying as have both dog and cat
