Ripley and scuff

A while ago me and a few mates became obsessed with the extended theme tune from a childrens program called ripley and scuff. The song was by 'Ripley's Rascals' and was called 'messing about' (i think). I still think its the best song in existance (lol) and I just wondered if I might have got it wrong or something. Everyime I try and search for it on my music downloader it doesnt seem to come up. Myabe it's just not that popular! The lyrics went: Everybody says we're top banana, and everybody says we're silly spoons. and so on.You probably all think I'm mad but I just wondered if anybody can give me more information. P.S. I know that the band who sung it are called 'The Distillers' and I also cannot be bothered to buy the single! Jusyt seeing if anyone knew any more.

Sorry I dont know anything else about the song but I just wanted to say, I Love this song, lol soooo glad it's not just me, everybody "we're Ripley and scu-uu-uff, messin' about, messin' about"  oh dear do you think we're sad?

WOW, I'm not alone. Well a lot of my other mates and my younger brother hate this song. I don't think we are alone no, there must be other followers. I'm just glad that I'm not the only one who likes this kind of thing lol I also love the song from the end of bear in the big blue house,  In my defence I have a child so I use him as an excuse to watch kids tv

Lol, no not really. I'm 18 see, which I thought was lame, but I'm suprised that (excuse me if you're not that old), slightly older people like this sort of thing. thats pretty good tho i spose. This is probaby the second or third answer ive asked on here and thats in the space of about 3 days. Sorry, i don't really know my way around and the way people speak on here.

Yeah i did, but it seems like a real niche community over there, everyone knows everyone sort of thing. Its pretty good though. Well, I wont keep you, its wednesday and you'll need to pick up your pension. maybe I'll take another look at chatterbank then.
