Anybody think they are one of the worst things to happen. When you are in midst of conversation other person's phone rings and in my case the caller has really nothing to say ie

"Where are you"

Are you on the bus

Where are you near. It puts me nuts.

They should only be used for emergencies.

Also all the texting - when they are texting or somebody is texting them - the person constantly looks at the phone leaving you to feel sh*t and worthless

some people have free call time, so they make non emergency calls on them, maybe 10 years ago they were for emergencies but most people just natter/text away on them when they get bored on the bus ect

but I still dont think they should be used when in company. Perhaps my company is boring but then again I dont invite them to my house - they invite themselves so it is not my company. I feel like putting a notice on my door - NO MOBILES HERE PLEASE
oh yes, if my phone rings and I am talking to someone and the call is non urgent I just fob off the caller until later saying I am busy.
