the 2004 series, not the 80's one. I am in the unfortunate position of having a husband who loves this series and is all too slowly getting throught hem on DVD. I HATE it, but it drones on in the background periodically.
Unfortunately sometimes i have to listen to it. ANyway, at the beginning of each episode it goes on about the cylons being 13 different types, 7 known about, 4 in hiding. WHO IS THE LAST ONE? please put me out of my misery
yes lemarchand i do hate it but do want to know more. I would like to know before him because he keeps saying "i bet it's starbuck", or "i bet it's the president"
Garmand, yes they do. (Aquariel look away, it'll spoil it for you). The first time they find "Earth" it's "their" Earth, and it's been destroyed by war. At the end of the series they find a new home to settle which turns out to be "our" Earth's pre-history. (Hope that makes sense).
LeMarchand, I'm not sure you meant to address your comments to me!! I provided the link with the answer as I've already seen them... I think you meant Bednobs...
P.S. Bednobs, once he's finished with BG, he'll probably then want to watch Caprica, the prequel series :-)
i think what annoys me the very most about these series that are on DVD is that because he watches about 3-4 episodes in a row, you get the theme tune 6-8 times!
Sorry Aquariel, I did mean bednobs - must have been distracted by the fluffy kitten!
bednobs: There's also "The Plan" a movie that shows things from the Cylon perspective, not to mention a fair few webisodes >;-). The music is quite highly regarded amongst soundtrack aficionados, btw - if you're really lucky, the OH might want to take you to one of Bear McCreary's live concerts >;-) >;-)...
