Has anyone had this? Have been trying to conceive for over a year now and was told by the doc this morning that he'll send me for blood tests and then he talked about the lap and dye procedure too. I had no idea it involved day surgery and now I'm worried! Does anyone know if I have to have it regardless of the blood test results? Any advice welcomed.

Thanks so much, that's very reassuring. I'll let you know what I do! x
Hi Lorla. Please don't worry.I've had both these procedures and the lap and dye was better than the Hysterosalpingogram (sp?) because you are asleep! I found the other test quite painful but apparently my tubes shut down as soon as the dye went into them and they gave me a second injection to open them.I was a little sore after the lap and dye but not for long.I wish you lots of luck with everything.I know how upsetting it can be but there is so much that can be done.I'm sure all will work out for you.Take care.
