Some people just panic.....
Oh that's awful! i hope your daughter's ok.
stoke, that's really bad news. I hope you don't find that the other car was stolen, or uninsured - unfortunately that seems often a reason why people don't stop and report.

thanx cutetoni luckily shae wasnt in the car she had parked up.and boxtops you are so right....
Stoke, what was the company and where was it? We could all go round en-masse and crash our cars into him! Thats people power!!!
Have you phoned the police? My ex clipped a wing mirror once....no damage so drove off. Someone reported him. He got done with leaving the scene of an accident...
oh that's a relief. I think the person should have left their details, thats bad manners.
Good point ummm - failure to report an accident is an offence, the other bloke could be in more trouble than he thinks, particularly if the witness will give a statement without delay. Get down the cop shop, stoke! (we'll come too)
They just don't care do they stoke? Your daughter must be gutted - what a shameshame. It was probably his boss' truck/lorry anyway. Do have a way of checking the dvla to find out who owned it?
Some people dont care, stoke as long as they get away with it. 5 years ago I parked my 3 week old motability car in a parking bay on the main street came back to find it severely damaged from the just behind the headlights to the drivers side passenger door, of course nobody had seen anything but who ever it was had left a note under the wiper appologising for the damages and asking me to ring him to sort it out as he was on a short timetable. In fact he was in that much of a hurry he forgot to leave a phone number. I informed the police etc, (well we can't do any thing unless you can identify the other vehicle) but the officer did say that this sort of thing happened probably twice in every ten accidents. If I'd had to pay myself the bill was about £1500

thanks everyone....
I once came out of work to find my car across the car park in a fence. One of the works guys had reversed into it in his 4 x 4 and not noticed at all. It wasnt till I rang him and he came round he actually believed me. lol. Actually saved me money as my light had fallen off week before so I claimed on that too lol
OH swung into a car parked opposite once, it was a banger so neither wanted to put it through insurance - gave the other guy £100 and the OG then said "thanks, I was going to scrap it tomorrow anyway...." Doh..
fraudulent claim 4get? .. tut tut

sorry to read that SM, hopefully he'll have a responsible boss when you track them down.
