Picture this - a British Legion 'do', man asks lady to dance. She relishes the chance - her husband is sitting miserably in the corner & hasn't danced since 1968 when Tom Jones tempted him.
Mambo No. 5 comes on - both geriatrics are 'giving it some'. Then it's the bit that goes "Shake your head to the sound, put your hands to the ground.....". The woman does so, and can't get up again. The man does so, and his teeth fall out...
No word of a lie, this was Lil's mum last saturday night. Then, like mother like daughter, she wee'd herself laughing.

Unfortunately I wasn't there to witness it. I've only been to the British Legion function room once - back in 1973. Once was enough....
