moat manhunt

have put this on another thread but for some reason the thread was in healthand fitness. what I'm curious about is.........there were two men allegedly held 'hostage' by Moat but now under arrest for being in cahoots with him. what's to have stopped them leaving a vehicle near where he abandoned his car? if this happened he could be in Timbucktoo now whilst the police are concentrating their efforts on a local area .have I missed something?

I don't understand why they are calling them 'hostages' when they have been arrested for conspiracy. If that's true then they are not hostages.

I guess they don't know yet whether they were hostages or confederates so it's still an open question what to call them.

As for the Timbuctoo possibility, who knows. I dare say the police will have considered this, but they still have to check Rothbury out.
