How would i word it tho in Google?
dLA is not means tested, and as far as i know is not taken into account when calculating other benefits. Don't know about ib/esa tho
Google something like "DLA and housing benefit"
Go to Directgov website all the details there.
My nephew was recently receiving Incapacity Benefit and DLA. He was also receiving Housing benefit at the same time.
I don't know about the tax credit.
DLA is a non taxable benefit and it doesn't affect any other benefit. I have no idea about incapacity/ESA.

If you are receiving DLA and you apply for Carers allowance,DLA is reduced if you are successful.

Thank you for all the posts, most helpful. xx
I have a friend on Incap and he gets housing benefit.
///If you are receiving DLA and you apply for Carers allowance,DLA is reduced if you are successful. ////
Most definitely NOT TRUE! I recieve DLA (mobility and care for me, care for my son) for both myself and my son. I also claimed Carer's Allowance to help me care for my son and none of the other benefits were reduced. DLA is not affected by any other benefit. It is non-taxable and not means tested.
