france was colder than where I live

I got back last night, to find that where I live had better weather last week than Brittany!

Plus have I missed much in the news? That Raol person was in the news on the way to Portsmouth last friday and we heard about what had happened on the way home last night.

But the apartment only had about 10 channels, all were in French and we didn't see any english news. The only englishy stuff we heard about was what was broadcast on jersey's radio station as all the english stations had rubbish signal, not that i'm moaning, i'm stating facts.

Havent half missed ya even tho ive had a little trip abroad myself.

It was a little coastal town near Quimper -its not even on the map -it was 30yrs ago so memories not quite as good!!!
Lovely crepes -thats all i remember that along with the horsemeat which I though was braising steak with rather a strong sauce-until I tasted the sauce on its own.....

We stayed at a Eorocamp site near Quimper about 30 years ago.......the weather was excellent but I must admit I remember the holiday for the crepes as well.
