Hi a friend of mine (true) is getting divorced, she brought het home out right years ago, she got married NEVER had her husban name put on the deeds,she has been told that she will need to sell the property because he willbe entitled to half the value and as she has not got that sort of money that is why she will need to sell. Is this true? whf

he will be entitled to something not necessariily half. if they can agree a settlement among themselves amicably then do otherwise it's party time for a couple of lawyers. In the end a judge decides. Deeds are irrelevant.
