what is the difference between a teepee and a wigwam?

Wigwams are dome shaped, teepees are cone shaped, but don't worry about the difference it will make you too tense

Wigwams are what we always used to call Red Indians' homes when I was a child, but I now understand that the pointy tents with poles out of the top are teepees and wigwam is a more solid arrangement. dome shaped, sometimes covered with straw etc.

wigwams are straw etc and teepees are traditionally buffalo hide - i think.
