Greyhound
A few years ago a friend told me about a greyhound who cheated during a race.
This dog ran diagonally across the centre of the circuit to get to the end.
I thought that the dog was called 'Mick the Miller' but can't find any details of this incident - so it was probably another dog.
Is it a true story? What was the dog's name? (I know that it didn't actually cheat - it would not understand the concept of winning, all he would see was a moving hare).
