ive got a p.a she is very good at her job she ahs told me this afternoon that she has got another job,she doesnt want to leave but will be earning £150.00 per month working for another company...shall i tempt her to stay or hire someone who i dont really know...i know what im going to do really but what would YOU do????

Do you think she will take the pay rise, though, stoke, and stay? It's putting her in a difficult position if she's already accepted the other job. Shame she didn't discuss it with you before she went ahead - and it seems odd to me that as her current manager, the new company didn't ask you for a reference before offering her the job. Are you sure she's not just considering another job offer, just to see if you take the bait about more pay?

If you really value her, and can afford to match the offer she has, then I would try to keep her stokey!..................you may find it very difficult to replace her!..............I think that this is what you've already decided....................
