...if I go "off air" for any reason...it's been nice to know you all.

Do you hate or like storms? I quite like them (as long as I'm indoors) and do you rush round covering mirrors or anything superstitious?

Lardy, my grandma used to think that if you left a plug socket switched on with no plug in it, the electricity would fall out. Mind you, she also said that if you stand on your head, all the innards slide up to the top of your body...

As I said in a previous post that even though I've never been there, my mother came down here from South Shields in 1926, and it's interesting to see all these memories of Shields as the Boss and I are planning to hve a long week end up there

oooooo........We've got loud music and flashing lights and it's now hiddling it down...

Why - are you having a party jack?
The Spanish City was the name for the amusement park in Whitley Bay, so called because the front facade was in the Moorish style of southern Spain with a big white dome. The dome is still there, unfortunately nothing else is.
