Perhaps it is true that life begins at 50,
But its then that every thing else starts
to wear out, - fallout - or spread out.

everything travel south Jem lol
I didn't note anything starting, even the coast downhill had started years before.
Anyway, isn't the quote 40 ?
50 isn't so bad....

things may start to creak a bit but so does a galleon in full sail and it is beautiful and awe inspiring
I
aaww how poetic is that Rowan ♥
I haven't quite reached that golden milestone myself (I rely on the likes of bobbi, sqad & doc to tell me how it feels.....), however I get more confidence & easiness with life as I get older. I can't say life began at 40, cos unfortunately my life between 41 & 44 went pretty pearshaped & crap, but I am 48 and love it.

Things are expanding, drooping, deteriorating - but I am so happy, have a great family , wonderful friends & realise what is important in life. And boy do I intend it to stay that way.

Life for me began at 49 when I finally got married. My toy boy keeps me young (You're only as old as the man/woman you feel .....)
I will keep you well informed salla,,lol
mind you Ben <grandson> has just asked Bill how old he would be <Bill> when he has to go in the ground!!!!!
awww woolie, cute av ♥
My BF calls himself my toyboy woolie - he's a whole 8 months younger! However, I have had younger, I have had older - both have their advantages!

Bibbi - your advice to me would be get pi$hed on a regular basis, don't throw too many wobblies cos it gives you frownlines, dance, sing, and be generally silly - and you know what love - nowt wrong with that!
Bibbi, Bibbi...♪ who the Fluff is Bibbi♪

I wouldn't mind sailing in rowans Galleon, it would be a beautiful ride !! :-)
sorry bibbs - slip of the digit. It happens regularly.......!

(I was going to go on about prostates then, but better not)
I quite like it salla, my stepson calls me that and has done for 22 yrs :o)
I hoped life began at 31... But it's nice to know I have a reincarnation to look forward to :c)
If I could only change direction I might get a first mate by the sound of it...
I bet you'd be very good at tyeing up the cleats rowan ;-)
It might be the only safe way to proceed by the sound of it
