I am from West London, but have a job which sometimes sends me to train overseas customers. they have sent me to Trinidad for 10 days, so havent been anywhere yet, though I am planning to visit the best beach on Sunday. Tonight meeting up with two other people from my company at their flashier hotel for supper. Answerbank makes me feel "at home" when away.

Hi Boxtops, it is a beautiful island, big line of hills from my hotel window. Unfortunately they have a lot of gun crime here. I just came back from the nearest shopping mall which is huge. Prices generally very reasonable. Very hot all the time even when cloudy. I asked today what is the coldest ever temperatures and I was told 19 degrees C at night.

Yes Jan, I know I am lucky. Mr Rubix I am in the airline industry and have to train airlines. I came here by a long route which started with flying lessons and aviation became a bit of an obsession.

Mr Rubix you are to be congratulating for overcoming your prognosis and getting fitter than most of us now. I had a car accident when I was twenty and though nothing like yours, it did make me change the way I thought about things, and what was important in life and what wasnt.
