Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if i would be entitled to working tax credits. My husband has been signed off work for the rest of the year due to a serious knee problem. He will be getting £78 a week sickness benefit. I am contracted to work 16 hours a weeks as a home carer although most weeks I work 25 hours or more. I am 53 years of age, my husband is 59. We live in scotland. He has applied for disability benefit but, dont yet know if he will get it.
This is the first time we have had to do anything like this and it is a minefield.
I would so appreciate any advice.
Thanking you all.
