I can't think of any reason why not, given that lesser talents get gongs after a quarter the time he's spent in showbiz. Perhaps his talent is seen as a bit nebulous - he's not an interviewer, he's not a magician, he's just an 'entertainer'; but that doesn't seem like a big problem to me. Perhaps he just doesn't want one? (Yeah, very likely, I know.)

I wouldn't complain if he was given some recognition, either for his services to broadcasting, or for keeping up with younger women at 82, either deserves respect.

I agree that bruce is a better canidate than most but I can't stand the man.

If we could vote, I'd vote for him. (Ask Ed to set up a poll....) he's certainly done more in his many years in showbiz that some of the newbies who gets gongs. I don't like him but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it.

it's not given because of your job (unless you're a civil servant) but because of how well you do it. I'm not a fan of Brucie myself but I think he does his job very well, which is why he's proved so long-lasting when many others have not.

Why not, but I do think they hand too many out. He is suppose to be cutting down on Strictly though because of his age.
