Anyone got any ideas on the best way to do this.  I'm concerned that I will ruin the peaked bit of the caps.

Thanks in advance.

When in USA recently I saw a special baseball cap washing thing, it looked like a cap only made of plastic wire, it opened up and you put your cap it to it, I suppose it is to keep the shape. It was for use on the top shelf of a dishwasher! Don't know if you can get them over here though.

Interesting - I have considered putting them in the dishwasher with the dubious logic that they wouldn't get bashed around as much as they would in the washing machine?

I'll see if anyone has any other suggestions and if not - in they go!

I always throw baseball caps into the washing machine.  they do nothing to the peak.  I think that's the reason they make them so rigid.

Much depends on the material in the bit that provides the shade - sometimes it is a form of cardboard and will disintegrate when wet.

Mr Spudqueen decided today that his baseball cap needs washing - there I was wishing I'd bought that wire form thing to wash it with so decided to 'google' and came across this site.  After reading this I think I'll just bung it in the washing machine and hope for the best!

i always chuck mine is the washing machine when ive taken them on holiday and theyre covered in sun cream and theyre always fine x
Just got Mr Spudqueens baseball cap out of the washing machine and it's come out fine. No problem!
