We have both a desktop computer and a laptop computer at home. IN general OH uses the lappy and I use the desktop. Both have Word 7 installed. On my laptop, there is a software accessory by which we can put "sticky notelets" on the desktop screen. Unfortunately, I can't seem to access this accessory for the desktop system. I absolutely love these little notes, but OH says they get on his nerves and can't I get them on the desktop system?

Can anyone help with suggestions as to how I can download this "notes" thing for the desktop, please?

Thanks, Chokkie

What is Word 7?

Do you mean Windows 7, or Word (part of Microsoft Office)?

Microsoft Office does come with a compopnnent called OneNote, is that what you mean?

HI guys, many thanks for the suggestions, and armed with these OH has downloaded some free software for me> Can't put on more than 5 "stickies" on my desktop screen, but that's more than enough at one time.

Er, can I ask one more thing though ... on the above answers, there are two that say "answers removed". What does that mean? Were they removed by AB Ed?

Thanks, Chox.
Yep, cut down in their spammy prime by myself.

Spare Ed
Yes, they were from somebody who seemed to want to tell you the history of Microsoft word!

Did you look at the link on my answer? or to sum it up.... click the start button and type sticky notes into the search box and look at the top of the start menu.
If you right click on your desktop, and go to gadgets, you can go to the gadget download page and you'll find the sticky notes in there free to download. Hope this helps :)

Many thanks, folks. Your help has been invaluable. OH found one for me, but thanks to your suggestions, I've found a load of others. So OH and I both have "stickies" on our desktop now.

Many thanks, Chox.
