The in laws came for Sunday lunch & while I was cooking, one of the kids had our wedding album out. My MIL flicked through it and paused at a photo of me on my own, looking (if I may say so) gorgeous.
She then said "My God, you did look plain on your wedding day."

I want to kill her!
