Has anyone ever asked you a random question that was odd for the situation you were in? when they weren't drunk . . .?

I was wondering what uo were on about, I thought i was still on the threat levels question and you were telling me to tell one of the soldiers something . . .then I realised what question it is.

I should have done, but he asked it so casualy, but as if he was questioning my ability before i was allowed in his kitchen (this was before we cooked the pasta meal.) and it took me aback as a very random thing to ask, it's not like there's much opinion, only within a minute or so . . .
