Most Tattooed Town in England

I know there has been a huge revival in the popularity of the tattoo for about ten years now.As I walk the streets of Manchester it seems almost every second person is sporting at least one tattoo.I'm curious to know does anybody know (maybe someone may have done a survey?) where is the most "inked" town in Britain?It could be linked to the town with the most tattoo parlours?

When I see someone covered in tattoos, I can't help thinking of how they'll look when they're old age pensioners.

I always consider the number of tattoos a person has is usually in inverse proportion to their IQ. This premise has proved fairly accurate over the years.

Raleigh i dispute that theory,one of our reliefs is a member of mensa,and a student nurse getting A's in his exams,and he has tattoo's covering most of both his arms,and on his chest...

Good call by buenchico. Though as well as fully grown adults getting them it seems that every young adult now has them. I love art and tattoos definitely brightens up a body imo.

My point and, as heathfield pointed out, most of those sporting tattoos have obviously not thought how much more ugly they will look when they are older.
Also, I have noticed an increase in the number of places offering tattoo removal. Did those people having tattoos think they would simply rub off when they sobered up and realised how stupid they were?
