Does anybody know the location of Lord Edgware's house In this episode? Its a listed building I believe in London .. possibly West. It features in several outside scenes at day and nightime shots and also makes a quick appearence in a later episode Cards on the Table? Can anybody help?

The property you are asking about is correctly known as The Debenham House, after the founder of the Debenham store chain who comissioned it.
It is also known as the Halsey Ricardo house, after it's architect, and as the Peacock House after it's appearance.
It is in Melbury Road,Kensington,London.W14.

this is from a movie website which list other film locations used for the Debenham House.
The strange, brooding mansion, with tall chimneys and startling turquoise tiles is Debenham House, 8 Addison Road, between Holland Park Avenue and High Street Kensington. The supremely photogenic house was also seen in the colourful period melodrama Trottie True, the 1995 Richard III and The Wings of the Dove. It even became the ‘Arabian Embassy’ for the dire Carry On Emmannuelle and, more recently, the interior of the ‘Edinburgh’ brasserie in which Julie Walters waits for the missing Rupert Grint in Driving Lessons.

It used to be open once a year to the general public,as it was leased by a charity who held a bazzar once a year.
Apologies (my fault) it IS in Addison Road NOT Melbury road as I stated.

What a fantastic answer - it is certainly the house used in the two Poirot episodes I mentioned. If only all London based Poirot locations were as easy to find, yet I shall endeavour collating them. My great thanks to you.

Is a complete list of the Poirot episodes.
Some have good locations lists, some have vague ones and some have none at all.
However,it can be a start.
If you have any more Poirot locations(that you cannot pin down)just post and I'll try and find them.
I don't guarantee,but I will have a go.
Alec.
Sorry, ignore previous link (that was just one episode) this is the link to a list of ALL the episodes

I am in the process of tracking down and photographing the locations used in 'Poirot'. You can see photos on my locations site at http://www.tvlocations.net

I have quite a few photos ready to add to it as well and will shortly add this location.
