Am I pregnant?
17 Answers
Hello there i have been going nuts trying to figure out if i am pregnant or not. My boyfriend and i first of all never use any form of birth control (not smart). I have been getting my periods for the past 3 months on time yet they are very irregular. For the first 2-3 days it is normal (but without tissue/clots), and then for the next 3-5 days it is extremely light yet pink. I might finish my period completely within 4 days! (very unusual). I have also noticed such things as excessive oily skin/hair, tender breasts consistently for 3 weeks, bloating, constipation, fatigue, weight gain (my belly has extended), stiffness, and slight cravings. I have taken a home pregnancy test about a month or two ago and it tested negative. This is very strange. Help!

A month or two ago you were unlikely to be pregnant as you tested negative.
Considering you don't use contraception then in the present, yes you could be pregnant (although those symptoms are very vague and could be other things) so take another test.
If you take another test and are not pregnant and you do not wish to become pregnant then may I suggest some form of contraception and an injection of common sense. The former can be got from a GP or a sexual health clinic, the latter may occasionally be found to be of little use if the person having the injection is particularly immune to reason.

Thank you all for your advice and answers. I have taken another pregnancy test and it was negative. I will be seeing the doctor on Friday to ask about my hormones and contraception as I really can't afford to get pregnant at this stage in my life as we are struggling with money and a pregnancy could not have came at a worse time. I know I have been very stupid not using contraception and sometimes in life it takes something like this to give you a wakeup call. Thanks again.
