Problem with Apple software

I have windows vista and yesterday I downloaded the latest version of Apple itunes. Now, when I start the computer I get a box saying AppleSynchNotifier is not working. I then get a box from Windows saying it`s looking for a solution. I just cancel the boxes and everything seems OK but it`s a pain. What`s gone wrong and how do I rectify it?

Uninstall the MobileMe Control Panel if you don't use the service. That should clear it
