How do you rip and copy music from Spotify? I would like to make a compilation CD for the car. Thanks in advance.

Such actions are in breach of Spotify's licensing agreement and, in the same way as when illegally downloading with Limewire, can lead to court action being taken against you - which can get VERY expensive:

However you can record any sounds played by your PC using Audacity:

In order to save the files as MP3s you'll also need to install the LAME MP3 encoder:

Yes, this is in breach of Spotify's T&C's.

The best way of recording streaming music, from legitimate sources, is with:

It can automatically split the songs into separate MP3 files and automatically put all the ID3 tags and artist's info the file. Oh, and it can remove adverts too. But obviously, using it with Spotify would be naughty.
