Tomato plant flowers are dropping off just before the flower as if something issnipping them off any ideas

The most likely culprit is temperature... anything over about 85 degrees for any extended period causes flower drop. Additionally, the tomato plant loves watering just as long as it's not standing in water. At least a good inch per week or more. Deep watering all at once is better than just getting the surface wet.

Take it easy on fertilizer application... just a little is sufficient.

Have you noticed any bees or other insects around the plants. Lack of pollination will also cause the flowers to abort.

Clanad most things you have mentioned have happened we've had a really hot summer so I think I could be over watering and as its a small greenhouse its a job to keep an even temp and also the wife is a great believer if one spoonful is good two is twice as good

Once there are flowers give them a good shake that spreads the pollen . A daily shake and spray spreads and helps the pollen to stick. This is quite important in a greenhouse if you are not getting many insects to do it for you.
