Yes I think it quite a good way to describe what happenss thee may be a heaven and hell in the afterlife, but some things that happen here must be describable as hell,, so some people must experience aspects of life as heavenly

I am not sure if we have an after life !!!!!!!! I was just quoting my aunts view. Religious or not don't we all want to believe we are here for a reason.

How is it that most of it has been hellish. Heaven nowadays for me is a hot scented bath with candles and wine. A block of freshly made Rocky Road. A lazy day on a yacht in the sunshine. A family holiday in the sun.

AYG. May I call you gran. I have had many holidays and have enjoyed most of them. Now there are just the two of us. I have never had a Gran. I had 1 grandad but he died in 1979. I loved him to bits, His son my dad didn't buts that's another story.

I am an atheist and do not believe in any afterlife, though the two aren't necessarily related.

Whilst the concept of us all being here for a reason is quaint, apart from religion, i don't think any body or belief system supports this to my knowledge, I'm probably wrong though, and would probably be just another take on the good going to heaven and the bad going to hell.

I'm far happier not even entertaining such a concept, I live my life not worrying about such things.
