36d 'Broke new ground': thought it was 'propelled', but that messes us 52a' Obtained, got hold of ' which I thought was ' procured'. For 36 down I have p?o?e?r?d. Is 50d 'knead' ('reportedly require massage'); and lastly is 29a 'doctorate' (sign to begin your distant future'). Any help will be much appreciated

Thank you everybody; I'm glad I asked about 29a; 'doctorate' was the only word I could find to fit in with what I had but I didn't like it because I couldn't work out how it fitted in the clue except I thought the 'doc' of doctorate could be 'document' which could be signed! way off.the mark. So thanks for 'Posterity' which is clearly much more appropriate!
