hi infomaniac, i have cuttlefish but it doesn,t fit with any of the clues going down 189d, is early fetus,which i think is embryo, so that makes the next to last leter in cuttlefish an o. for 218d,the clue is iron sulphide mineral, for this i have erdite which makes thirdlast letter in cuttlefish an e. i am really stumped with this one

Hi Jubo - sorry not to have got back to you but I was at a great party yesterday.
Have you managed to finish your crossword yet? It certainly looks as if embryo and colluded are right. Perhaps it is cephalopod not cuttlefish which would mean you have some of the other answers wrong. Have you tried pyrite for iron sulphide? I hope you've managed to complete this stinker.
