He wants early entry into the EU - that's not the same - Bularians an Romanians already are restricted and Turks might well face the same restrictions.

Not entirely sold on this though for other reasons.

Its a very large population and might well slant the balance of power in the EU

We could be held back while Turkey catches up

There's still the relation ship with Greece to sort out

I think he needs to make the case around Europe first - oh but he's so anti-EU nobody gives a tinkers what he says to Brussels

Early entry yes........but inevitably Turks will have unlimited freedom of movement throughout EU. As a country they have a shocking human rights record.
