Alternatives to Soy Sauce in stir frys

does anyone know any recipes for stir fry sauce without soy sauce. I am allergice to soya products. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

angestura bitters is good but I don't think it is spelt that way

how about those jars/sachets of sauce for stir fries? like sweet chilli, black bean, plum and hoisin, chow mein etc. theres loads of different ones that you could try. I don't know if any have soya in, if they do I'm sorry, you could check in the supermarket to see which do or don't

Soy sauce embues a salty flavour to food. Probably your best bet is Fish Sauce (Nam Pla) a staple in Thai cooking.

Or Anchovy Essence.

Both are available from Deli's/Supermarkets.
For my favourite stir-fry recipe I chop half a chilli, a clove or two of garlic and about 1 cm of ginger, and then add the juice of a lime (or you can use half a lemon). Delicious!

You could try walnut oil which will impart a lovely nutty flavour
