It is my Birthday, O.K.don't all comment at once, I have received my cards, but how many of us look at them more than once. They cost an awful lot of money and it seems such a shame. I am determined to look at them properly again and again.

I convert the best bits to a page in a scrap book with extra bits and pieces nice backing papers, charms etc
Happy Birthday tinkie. I used to work with a certain gentleman who started a greetings card company and now regularly appears in the Sunday Times rich list.

Funnily enough I am a scrapbooker, but of the digital kind, but when you add up, how much they must have cost, it still makes me feel guilty.
HB tinkie, my daughters today too x
Happy birthday tinkie.

I tip out the messages and name, and substitute it for my own. I save a fortune. ;-)
Happy birthday tinkie,
I've saved some of the more beautiful or meaningful cards, ie from my daughter and granddaughter sent to me on special occasions. They're in a box somtimes I come across them and it's nice to see them and remember the occasion.
i only ever buy the cheapo card range from tesco these days, something like 5 for £1 or 25p each if bought singly. they're nice cards, lots to choose from for all sorts of occasions and all sorts of people. if i was to receive one myself i'd be happy enough, it's the thought that counts.
happy birthday tinkie :)
I should have put tippex out rather than tip out, but I was only joking anyway so it doesn't really matter.....

Thank you all for your best wishes, I have to agree with ethandron, I buy my cards from Sainsbury's now much cheaper, which I would ever have done until recently.
I have a confession to make. I am a total doofus. Somebody special has got me a birthday card, and I asked that person to hold onto it in their bag. At the end of our time together, I drove off and completely forgot about the card.

I think that, technically, I am a moron of the highest calibre!!
i agree
Sod off fluffster. You're not supposed to agree, in fact you are supposed to disagree wholeheartedly!!

Oh well, at least i'm not lying in bed, eating chinese and watching star trek!! :D
I've kept every greeting card I've received since my teens. I can't bear to throw them
out. They're stored in my box room. I'm surprised the ceiling hasn't caved in!
Enjoy your birthday. I hope you have a lovely day.
Happy birthday x

It saves money, time and paper if you send an e-card.
You should count yourself lucky you got some Tinkie.

Happy Birthday x
happy birthday tinkie
happy birthday tinkle. I keep all my birthday cards out on the mantelpiece until a week after the day itself. Then I put all of them (except one) in the paper recycling box. The card that I keep is the one that my OH gives me. And ditto for his cards, he keeps the one I bought him!
Happy Birthday tinkie - I always read and re-read the one I send to myself, keep it safe for the next year too.
