I'm just having a glass of voignier which could do with being more chilled, but it's wet and it's rather tasty.

A certain aber keeps texting me and being silly... and I must admit I quite like it.

I'm sat here in my slops (baggy trousers and and even baggier vest top) but at least I'm comfortable. My fellow abers... you can't buy class like wot I've got.

What are your reasons to be cheerful right now?

I'm really cheerful as I've just been speaking to a good mate, who, I might add is as mad as a mad can be. Which always cheers me up :o)
I'm more cheerful now, OH has just sent some goodnight texts.

Where is he, Boxy?
She does really well for her age. Good for her. I think it's great that you're so close ... even closer since you lost your dear old dad ..... I remember your posts from that time. (HUG). x
Many thanks Mrs C.
Big {{{{{{hug}}}}}} back..
She seems to depend on me a lot these days, just to help her out in needy tasks.
I am here, I am alive and my dear friend Linda lies in a Hospice not knowing anyone with a brain tumor that is killing her...sorry but I have been talking to her husband tonight folks x
I've no doubt you're a son in a million, imo. x

I got an email a week or so ago, from someone off Facebook, calling himself imhotep bob. Not you, was it? I don't go on FB as I don't get much spare time, and when I do, I like to look in on here.
Mazie and NoM - next weekend, Croatia.
Hope you've got something special and cheerful planned boxy?
Hi Bobbi - all you can do is be there for the family - they are lucky to have you. Let's be thankful on this thread for the hospice movement, I worked in one for six years some time back, it was a wonderful experience - I have the utmost respect and admiration for the selfless work which they do.
Mazie - ;-)
OMG boxy, to see Steve tonight was so upsetting, she is 51 and a lovely person both in and out, sorry, but I am so distressed at this !
Why did you give an aber your mobile/text number?
Sorry to hear about that, Joy. It certainly makes you value everything you have.
yes it does Mrs c, this has had a profound effect on me tonight, I won't upset you people for being graphic, needless to say, I am sad and shocked
Bobbi, be assured that she is in the best place, if she has to be there she will have the best of tender care, and equally importantly, they will look after her husband too. They know.
what can I say?
I am totally upset for my friend...sorry..
If it helps you to say it, Joy, then say it. There are lots of understanding folk on here. x
