i would like to find out who works in a particular shop, its a long way from where i live so traveling there is not an option.i dont want to ring and ask cos they probably wouldnt tell me anyway.im not a stalker or anything weird its just that i hope the person is working and taking care of themselves any ideas on how i can find out

Just ring and say you were a customer and want to offer praise to the supervisor for a certain member of staff for their service, you forgot their name and offer a description - I have done this for a shy friend who wanted to ask a girl out on a date!

no not sue,its an old boyfriend who had some problems so i dont really want to speak to him just want to know hes ok

you are always trying to find someone. If he's an ex and you are no longer in contact with him then I'd just leave it. If you really cared you would still know how to contact him. x

ok heres what to do.

Call the shop, or email.

Say you would like to leave your details for Mr **** and could they just forward them to him if he works there.

If he ever contacts you then its his choice, but you do sound a bit scary tbh

Just phone and ask what you want to know. You will be surprised what people will tell you if you put on your official voice. If they ask funny questions say you are returning a call then sort of hang up.

As been mentioned, best just to leave it. I would guess it was you that initiated the split. It might build his hopes up for a reconciliation if he finds out you asked about him.
