Sicko...
can we stay away from the midgets
Sorry.. 'dwarves'. Better? ;-p
I once asked a rather vertically challenged lady if she would be my dwarf for a competition...........
Question Author
Vertically challenged, surely!

See, craft knows (will you change that bloody avatar! it's putting my foreskin in employment)
Part of Spain bans bull fighting - good. I hope the rest of the country follows
oops sorry Count.............I can't make my mind up which to have :-(
it's more than just 'a region', it's Catalonia - I suspect this is all part of their drive to show the world they're not Spain at all. They'll probably become independent in the next 50 years.
Considering the plethora of European laws we have been bombarded with, it beggars belief that they have not been stopped from carrying out this barbaric practice in the name of entertainment before.
Well we still have to watch Bruce on Strictly and that's bloody cruel.
Question Author
Good point jno.
They still have bullfighting in parts of France too.
I think dwarf is more acceptable than midget.
Can't stand all this 'vertically challenged' business. Call a spade a spade (oh, god, that's another story altogether.....)
It is all immaterial anyway, as interestingly (well, vaguely), the proposed ban will not come in to play until 2012... just about the same time that the world is rumored to come to an end thanks to one or more comets coming to say hello...
that's the Olympics, snags, and therefore also the time they will complete upgrades on the Metropolitan line, and that will be far more epoch-making than anything to do with bullfighting.
''they will complete upgrades on the Metropolitan line''

Now I know you're pulling my leg...
