uninstalled programs that wont go!

i recently installed drivermax on my computer - its rubbish so i am trying to get rid of it...but it wont go!

i have tried everything, but i just get a message saying it doesnt exist!...yet its still in all the menus, and pops up every other day to get me to use it...

i have installed another 'uninstaller' but that didnt do anything either...

why cant i delete it? its doing my head in now...i have done a system restore but its still hasnt gone...and i am sure it should have gone that far back

what can i do?

1 click start go into run. enter regedit ,

2 this will take you to the registry editor

3 click edit.

4 open find. Print in drivermax

5 drivermax will come up highlited on left hand side of screen scroll down until you see it then delete it

also delete the right hand side of screen where it says name type and data

THAT SHOULD GET RID OF IT

none of those things worked im afraid

i have ended up individually deleting all the small files...as it just wouldnt let me do it as a whole

i notice that on the main page of the it site theyre trying to flog an uninstaller pro tool...that promises to get rid of stubborn files...mmm...?

i dont know it that has worked yet either...we'll see if it pops up...wouldnt surprise me...

All I can suggest is that you install it again. Go to the program folder and look for their uninstaller. Make sure none of it's processes are running and try again.
Maybe try it in safe mode?
