Nor me.....
One good thing I found about getting older is I have more compassion and am less willing to make assumptions. I prefer to consider my thoughts before spouting forth - well most of the time
my mate hung himself to get some attention, it all went wrong when his neck broke though
Life is a blessing - death the tragedy in many such sad cases

Jeeezzzz....4get. Bless him.

Same as me ttfn. I was never an emotional person...cold hearted bitch apparently....until my Dad died. I actually hurt for people now.
yer but he must have known there would be a slight chance he'd die, the fact he did it from a playing field goal post where kids would find him annoys me a bit. He knew a lady walked her dog at that time everyday and would find him, but guess the difference when you kick a chair away or jump off the top of a goal post is a bit more pressure.
I think when we are young and haven't lost any one close to us life is just taken for granted. I am in awe when I hear people say that they are going to a funeral for the first time in their life at 30, 40 years old. I wish.
You have to have been there to understand another's feeling of loss.
wish I'd experienced friends deaths at an older age
don't usually come on here so aren't really part of the 'circle' but I have a family too so just wanted to add my condolances - such a tragic and far reaching thing to have happened.
your posting is as valid as anyone's carmalee

Carmalee....you might not come on much...but that doesn't mean we don't know you as a user :-)

ttfn....sometimes I think it might be a blessing in disguise. Other days I feel sorry for myself.

4get...that's selfish of him.
For anyone reading this - these words always help me

The Life That I Have

The life that I have
Is all that I have
And the life that I have
Is yours

The love that I have
Of the life that I have
Is yours and yours and yours.

A sleep I shall have
A rest I shall have
Yet death will be but a pause
For the peace of my years
In the long green grass
Will be yours and yours and yours.

Nice....

Naomi and RATTER might be disappointed but at times like this I'm glad I believe in God.
I dont believe in god as such, but in times of need I pray, I just hope someone must be listening
Question Author
Fingers crossed they are 4get.....
Beautiful words ttfn and so true, whatever we believe or not they are a comfort.

No nearer to finding you FB, but know that I send a reassuring hug and the knowledge that people do care and understand.
