My photos...(follow up)

Hi,

Half way through the week - yippee!

I was checking through some previous posts and found this one that a few of you commented on, http://www.theanswerb...Question882156-5.html

I told pastafreak I would give an update on how I got on, so I am pleased to say it is going well. I have had a photo published in a tourist guide, photographed 2 charity nights and also a band playing in the city. I have been offered a part time job with a tour company taking photos for them and have also been taking family photos and portraits of children and been making pennies from it.

Thanks for all the comments and advice given previously, it helped me on my way :)

well, CAJ does, see her post at the top of this Q. My photos are mostly not good enough to be made public, just the occasional one I can show people.

Don't be silly jno, everyone can share their photos! Yours are fab, I like the building one too, you have the right idea for composing photos and using the rule of thirds.

What if we had an AB photo-pool on flickr that AB users could submit their pictures to? Then maybe have a "gallery" of these somewhere?

Do you think there are enough people using flickr on AB?

I think thats a fab idea and I'm delighted you've been thinking about it!

I'll post a question asking who uses flickr. It could be used by everyone from proper photographers to people just wanting to upload holiday snaps etc
