i bought i ginormous cauliflower that would probably feed a family of 12. im now stuck with what to do with it. will make cauliflower cheese but want some inspiration for other recipes. did think of making a curry but dont want to stink the house out or will it anyway?
I'm not sure about the smell but the database of recipes for the BBC Good Food magazine (together with its sister publication, Olive) has 53 recipes using cauliflower:

i can't resist a nice big, white cauliflower. i cut it up like a cake if it's a big 'un, into quarters and use it up that way. if they're fresh they'll keep in the fridge for quite a while.
Cauliflower rice Grate it with a coarse grater and cook quickly until just about as tender as grains of rice, in a wok or deep pan put some cumin seeds, fresh coriander and a bout !/2 teaspoon of turmeric and a little chopped garlic add a tablespoon of oil and fry gently until the spices start to smell 'cooked' add the cooked cauli and stir it until it is coated....lovely with chicken tikka
