That`s what they say but I don`t think it`s true. It might reduce it a little bit
Yup - or chew parsley after. Or go to here and buy 'snoggable garlic'

I have a jar of Spanish smoked and pickled garlic and that doesn't make your breath smell. It is also absolutely delicious.
mm that sounds nice lofty
It is Mcfluff. The jar is almost empty and I don't know where I can get hold of any more. I bought in on a Spanish stall on a market in Devon! It's delicious!!
lofty, try aldi. they have jars of pickled garlic cloves there at the mo, about 3 different types.
garlic breath doesn't bother me at all, i love garlic and if someones breath smells of it, it just means they've been eating garlic, to my mind it's not bad breath just garlic breath.
however, himself hates the stuff so in the main i've stopped using it, don't even buy garlic bread anymore. very occasionally, i'll put a couple of whole cloves into a roast veg as it doesn't seem to flavour it very much and i can eat the soft, cooked garlic.
Thanks ethandron. But I haven't got an Aldi anywhere near me :o(. Perhaps I should try Lidls.
Garlic breath doesn't worry me either Ethandron. I am really selfish and eat it regardless. Mr LL and the rest of the family love it too. We get through loads!
Taking the green out doesn't mean you'll have garlic-free breath but you'll be able to digest the garlic better. Spanish garlic doesn't have that green stem (the cloves are usually red) so you still get garlic breath and it's easier to digest.
