because vegetables think they own the place
I wouldn't like to try telling a crocodile or tiger that he can't eat me because I am above him in the food chain
:P
I would, then wear him like a bag

I actually prefer veggies to any other food and am not vegetarian. It's more about having a bit of fish or meat to go with my huge pile of veggies!
Animals wouldn't be made of meat if we weren't supposed to eat them!

I so agree Doc. I can't see the point. Why disguise veggies to look like meat products - just silly. So many nice things you can do with veggies anyway.
^ but that's enough about cucumbers. :p
A veggatern diet is a healthly diet,I thank It is?
^ What language is that?
Because other animals kill what they need for food and leave it at that, whereas humans have a huge industry based around the breeding and raising of animals for food. They are kept in appalling conditions and subjected to cruel and often painful deaths. Ok, practises have improved a bit, but many people choose to be vegetarian based on a moral decision, that it is wrong to treat other life forms as mere food for our supposedly superior selves. Often they have been brought up eating meat and enjoy the taste, so they eat meat substitutes so they can get the flavour without being left with a bad taste in their mouths...
My brother was moaning that "Salmon and Tuna Sushi" contained salmon and tuna but "Vegetarian Sushi" didn't contain any vegetarians. ;-)
