today in court a man was sentenced to 5 years for manslaughter after attacking a stranger in the street. In the same court a man was sentenced to 8 years for stealing a rare book!!

Crimes against property have always tended to carry greater penalties than crimes against the person in this country.
He should've punched the librarian, he'd have got probation.
