I believe the answer to 31a is Homonomous.
I'm not sure it's homonomous. Do you mean homonymous? That means having the same name I think.
Theoldmill has made this hard for us by saying it has 10 letters but showing only 9 spaces, and I think at least one letter looks wrong
Actually I've just found there is a word HOMONOMOUS used in medical circles
