My wife has often said that when I die she will neither bury me nor cremate me, but have me stuffed, sat on the sofa with the remote in one hand and a drink in the other. Then she'll never know I've gone, apparently.
I am not entirely convinced she is joking.

My question is - would this be legal in the UK? If that German chap can plasticate bodies and display them in the UK, it shouldbe okay, but I know there are laws relating to the proper disposal of a body but I don't know what they entail.

Ta muchly.

What a good idea and she could probably flip you over and use you as an occasional table for card games etc. I expect plastication is quite expensive - maybe she could have you laminated after you're stuffed - a quick dust and you'd be good as new.

Fantastic idea! A tickle of the feather duster is as much as I expect these days.
This question's been asked several times in the States - google "taxidermy for humans" and several sites come up!

I don't live in the States so American law is irrelevant.

You want to keep all your exes on display for prosperity, barmaid? Is your house big enough?
I reckon you'll be thrown on the bonfire by the new hubby if the wife remarries.
Dont fancy that
