What kind of car are you looking for? Something flashy, a reliable but bigger family car or something wee nippy and practical?
Stick below 1400cc .. Polo, Fiesta, Saxo, etc

Hey tinkerbell,

I passed my test April last year, and my first car is a 2ltr Renault Megane. Ok so she is a bit big and fast but she is gorgeous!

My insurance is £1300 a year so it is do able, just a bit pricey!
Be careful when sorting out your insurance under your dads name. The companies are now wise to Fronting scams, and will nail you to the wall when you have your first ding.

Well if you live at his house that is acceptable I believe ..
But living elsewhere will be a problem.
