She looks lovely and elegant. I presume that Caspar is still alive and kicking - he hasn't been set off her hunting instincts.

I used to see a few greyhounds, lurchers and mixes when I was out with my last dog. One had three legs and could still run rings around the other dogs.

Have fun with her.

I've never owned one but apparently greyhounds will be quite happy lying about all day so long as they get a couple of fairly short walkies to poo and wee

She is as happy as a pig in pooh just sleeping all day-or following me about. Other than that-she gets two 30-40 minute walks,longer if she behaves on the lead.

wolf...Caspar is fine-he likes to take random swipes at her...and he actually spent 3 minutes sitting on her....lol!!

A few years ago my next door neighbour took in a retired Greyhound, Molly she called her, she was the sweetest and docile dog. Lovely with the kids, She would sleep 16 hours a day on average,
One day out in the garden she got hold of our cat shook her like a rag doll. the cat escaped but didn't survive so they still have that killer instinct in them and with oppertunity it will come out.

The cat in the garden is not the same as the cat indoors....a sighthound may live peacefully with cats or other small furries. But it can never be assumed that they can discriminate between those and any cats/small furries outside. This is not to say they are all seen as 'prey'.. .every dog is different,and any dog of any breed could react in the same way. Also...please do not refer to their prey drive as a 'killer instinct'. I am sure many sighthound owners would take exception.
