i want to text my daughter who is on holiday in Croatia, do I just use her mobile number or do I have to use the country code for Croatia. Appreciate any help

Just use her mobile number as you would in the UK - as long as she has activated International Roaming on her network for her own phone, then you should be fine.

Well I've done it so hopefully it will arrive ok.
As has been correctly stated, the key to this is whether your daughter has activated international roaming or not...

It may have been activated when she got the phone / took out the contract, but that's not done as a rule..
You're right MR, we activated ours when we took out our contract.
